Description

Craftsman from Bhadrak district used to weave magic with ‘Kainsa’ grass. Dexterous hands gave shape to beautiful bags, place mats, vases, bangle box, pen stands and other daily-use items. A traditional craft blossoming a few decades is wilting under the onslaught of modern ware. This is a little effort from my side to keep the kainsa craft alive though these eco-friendly Rakhi.
